"Guide Dog Charity Cup" Friendly Match Ends Peacefully

The Dalian University Alumni Golf Friendly Match "Guide Dog Love Charity Cup" hosted by Itabashi Medical Device Co., Ltd., Dalian kicked off on October 14, 2016 at Red Flag Valley Golf Club Unicorn Course, where more than a hundred graduates from the Dalian University of Technology, Dalian Maritime University, the Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, the Dalian University of Foreign Languages, and Liaoning Normal University brought out their strength and expanded the circle of support for the public welfare service of guide dogs in China.

 

At the opening ceremony, General Manager Sun Zhengji, the sponsor's representative, said, "This tournament is a match where we brush up our skills, is a networking opportunity where we can communicate with each other, and is a charity match where we deliver our love. I would like to thank all the participants who support the guide dog public welfare service," greeting and hoping that the game would end peacefully.

 

As a result of 5-hour exciting game, Dalian University of Technology won, and Dalian Maritime University and the Dalian University of Foreign Languages took second and third place, respectively. Following the game, the players who participated in the big charity award ceremony and dinner party held by the sponsor generously donated money. Itabashi Medical Device Co., Ltd., Dalian has donated 100,000 yuan annually to the guide dog base for 3 consecutive years and has donated a total of 300,000 yuan over the 3 years.

 

Using golf as a medium not only helps with charity work but also helps to pass on and enrich the spirit of golf. We believe that through this activity, the guide dog related public service in China can prosper for a long time by incorporating the power of public service of society into China's guide dog business, and we will thus be able to give hope to more people with visual impairment.
