On June 6, marking the 24th "Love Eye Day," Kangqiao Clinic of Ophthalmology and Optometry Dalian provided an outpatient care service for public interest to promote knowledge of eye protection, raise awareness of eye health and prophylaxis, and further improve the level of eye health throughout the nation.

At the site of outpatient care for public interest, explanations were given to local residents about the prevention of common eye diseases and standardized treatment modalities. Free examinations were also performed, and useful information was provided on eye protection and the prevention of common eye diseases.

At the public-interest outpatient care site of Kangqiao Clinic of Ophthalmology and Optometry, visual acuity test, slit-lamp eye examination, comprehensive ophthalmoscopy, funduscopy, and intraocular pressure test were performed. The examination results were explained in detail, and the specialized diagnosis and treatment plan were rendered for individual patients.

At the same time, knowledge of eye illnesses such as cataract, glaucoma, and macular regions was given, and staff of Kangqiao Clinic of Ophthalmology and Optometry sincerely addressed questions about eye health raised by the residents. Promotional materials were also distributed to protect the eyesight of local residents and prevent eye diseases.
