Celebrating the 98-year anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party, and in order to put into practice the spirit of the 19th CPC Congress, Kangqiao Clinic of Ophthalmology and Optometry, Dalian worked with communities including Rixin, Xigang District, Dalian, to provide public-interest outpatient care on the theme of "celebrating the anniversary of the founding of the party" in response to calls for the "Healthy China" policy.

In the public welfare outpatient care, Kangqiao Clinic of Ophthalmology and Optometry provided retired party members with a visual acuity test, slit lamp biomicroscopy, comprehensive eye examination, funduscopy, and intraocular pressure test. The results of these tests were explained in detail, and specialized diagnosis and treatment plan were rendered for individual patients.
Local residents received explanations about the prevention of common eye diseases and standardized treatments, free examination, and useful information for eye protection and prevention of common eye diseases.
Special reading glasses were also given to elderly people.
